Updated School District Boundary

The UALR GIS Applications Laboratory and Secretary of State have provided an update to the AR Public School District file. This file includes the resulting reallocation of Twin Rivers School District which became effective on July 1, 2010. The file can be downloaded from here http://bit.ly/b8Gokp

Grant, Hempstead, Howard, Prairie, and Searcy counties have all provided updates to the AR road centerline file. DFIRM Data Available

Digital Flood Insurance Map (DFIRM), provided by the Federal Emegency Management Agency (FEMA) has been loaded in GeoStor. The data is not available statewide as illustrated in the graphic to the right. FEMA also provides a web service which is updated more often than GeoStor recieves the data. April 30 & May 1, 2010 Storms-Part2

Strong storms passed through the state on April 30, 2010. These storms produced several sever thunderstorm tracks and possible tornadoes.
