The Arkansas GIS Office is pleased to announce an update to the Levee District data available on gis.arkansas.gov.  This update includes the consolidated Dardanelle-Carden Bottoms Levee District in Yell County.  This is a major addition not previously available in the Levee District dataset. For additional details regarding these inclusions please see below.

Many of the Levee Districts in Arkansas are rooted in history and the legal records documenting the jurisdictional boundaries are scattered.  We would like to acknowledge those who helped us gather these records together, they are:

Each of these played critical role in the research necessary to generate this data.
