Address Points, ZIP+4 and ASDI Locator Updates

The Arkansas GIS Office is pleased to announce that we have updated the SITUS Address Point File (APF) on the Arkansas Spatial Data Infrastructure (ASDI). The following Counties were included in this update Boone,Crawford, Drew, Izard, Lonoke, Logan, Nevada, Pulaski, Sebastian, & White. We’d like to thank each County and their respective organizational staff in providing  an update to this valuable dataset.

Additionally, this update includes the nearly completed (95%) feature type field that categorizes each address point according to specific criteria outlined at https://gis.arkansas.gov/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/2016_Address_Point_Guidance.pdf.

This update also includes the most recent database schema standard changes that are documented at https://gis.arkansas.gov/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/2018_Address_Point_File_Schema_Standards.pdf. The highlighted fields were altered from the previous schema. The APF data can be accessed via download at https://gis.arkansas.gov/product/situs-address-points/ or via feature or map services at https://gis.arkansas.gov/arcgis/rest/services/FEATURESERVICES/Location/FeatureServer/

Also, the USPS ZIP+4 data has been updated to the most recent USPS release, and can be downloaded at https://gis.arkansas.gov/product/zip-plus-4/ or through feature/map services using the same url as the address point url.

Lastly, as both of these layers are currently indexed in our Statewide Address Locator we have updated that as well. The Address Locator is accessible for download and use locally in ESRI software at https://gis.arkansas.gov/product/arkansas-statewide-geocoder/ or can be accessed via web interface or programmatically at https://gis.arkansas.gov/arcgis/rest/services/Locator/ASDI_Composite_Locator/GeocodeServer
