New Orthos in the Delta

High Res Image Service

Eagle Forestry Services/EFS GeoTechnologies (EFS) collects and processes a high volume of high resolution digital orthorectified aerial imagery products each year. EFS collected roughly 6,500 square miles of eastern Arkansas between November 2009 and March 2010 for the Corp of Engineers, Memphis District. In subsequent meetings, EFS received permission from the Corp of Engineers to release the data to Arkansas counties and GeoStor for user consumption. The imagery is half meter resolution and covers the Mississippi River, Delta Region, and the White River Bottoms.

The imagery is now available for use via FTP ( and via the HIGH_RES image service. The HIGH_RES image service is a composite of natural color, half meter or better, orthos created after 2008.
