The Arkansas GIS Office has processed an update to the Oil and Gas Well dataset available on gis.arkansas.gov at https://gis.arkansas.gov/product/arkansas-oil-and-gas-wells/

To produce this update, we downloaded the Access database hosted by the Arkansas Oil & Gas Commission at
https://aogc.state.ar.us/WellData/Files/AOGC.zip.
Surface coordinates contained in the WellDetail table were extracted and joined to the WellMaster table using the WellKey/Wpkey fields to generate the updated GIS dataset.

Please note that not all wells include surface coordinates in the source database. Wells without surface coordinates are not represented in this GIS dataset. Many of these wells contain Section–Township–Range information that can be used to map them within the PLSS framework, but this data must be extracted/queried separately within the Access database.
