The Arkansas GIS Office has processed an update to the FCC ASR Tower dataset available on gis.arkansas.gov at https://gis.arkansas.gov/product/asr-towers-fcc-point/

To produce this update, we downloaded the data files hosted by the FCC at
https://data.fcc.gov/download/pub/uls/complete/r_tower.zip.
Data was parsed from the coordinate (CO), registration/application (RA), and Entity (EN) dat files from the downloaded zip file and joined on the Registration Number and/or the Unique System Identifier fields. Each point indicates an active registered tower. These data were filtered from a national dataset to include only Registration values which had a value of AR in the state field (indicating the state which the registered tower exists, NOT necessarily what state the entity is from) and then points were filtered further to include only points that are in, or within 10 miles of the border of, the state of Arkansas.

Please note that not all towers include surface coordinates in the source data. Towers without surface coordinates are not represented in this GIS dataset. Many of these Towers contain street address information that can be used to map them within, but this data must be extracted/queried separately within the dat files.
