The Arkansas GIS Office has published an updated geocoding service (address locator) to the Arkansas Spatial Data Infrastructure (ASDI).

The current geocoding service:
https://gis.arkansas.gov/arcgis/rest/services/Locator/ASDI_Composite_Locator/GeocodeServer

will be replaced on December 1, 2025, by the new service:
https://gis.arkansas.gov/arcgis/rest/services/Locator/ASDI_Composite_Locator_Pro/GeocodeServer

The service will retain the name: ASDI_Composite_Locator

The primary difference between the two is that the legacy locator was built and maintained in ArcGIS Desktop, while the updated version is built and maintained in ArcGIS Pro.

Users should review and update any applications, workflows, or scripts that reference the current service to ensure they are compatible with the updated service.

Please note there are changes to some input and output fields in updated version of the address locator and its dependent service.
