Election Precinct Updates & 2020/2022 Clean Water Act Section 303(d) Impaired Waters data

The Arkansas GIS Office is pleased to announce an update to Election Precincts for Drew and Jackson Counties’. Please see below for additional details regarding the nature of these updates.

County Changes Edit Date Notes
Drew Precinct changes to align with the current municipal wards for the City of Wilmar 6/25/2025 CBEC adopted order on 6/17/2025
Jackson Precinct changes county-wide to combine and align precincts with Justice of Peace districts. 7/7/2025 CBEC adopted order on 6/24/2025

Also, the Arkansas GIS Office on behalf of the Environmental Quality Division of the Department of Energy and Environment has published 15 datasets covering Section 303(d) of the Clean Water Act  listing’s of Impaired Streams and Lakes in Arkansas for the 2020 and 2022 reporting periods. Lastly as a part of Impaired Water publication,  the GIS Office reordered the layers within the Water theme of the ArcGIS Server rest service located at https://gis.arkansas.gov/arcgis/rest/services/FEATURESERVICES/Water/FeatureServer.  So please note any projects or applications that reference a layer within the water feature or map service will have to be updated to the new index position.  We apologize of any inconvenience this may cause.
