Data Description

The purpose of this dataset is to represent as accurately as possible the locations of correctional facilities currently within the State of Arkansas.

This dataset was assembled from information gathered by the Arkansas GIS Office from the Arkansas Department of Corrections, Arkansas Division of Community Correction, and the Federal Bureau of Prisons.  It depicts the locations and includes pertinent attributes about each facility.
