This data contains current records and locations of Fire Departments and Fire Stations in the State of Arkansas
This dataset contains geographic locations for all Fire Department and Fire Stations in the State of Arkansas. The data custodian is located at the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management. This data incudes the applicable Fire District in accordance with the Fire Districts layer maintained by the UALR GIS Application Labatory. Also the Fire Station data includes Department or Station name, County(s) of responsibility, physical and mailing address as well numerous methods of department contact. Additionally the Fire Station data contains the Fire Department ID (FDID) and the interchangeable National Fire Incident Reporting System ID (NFIRSID) that is used by the Federal Emergency Management Agency to track reported incidences.
